Stamped on bottom of frontispiece. Furniture maker Adam Struys (1721-1782) operated a furniture-furnishing/hanging firm in S-Gravenhage. Employed from 1736-1782. Provided total interiors for many noble winter quarters in the city. The stamp direction GM is uncertain. A large series of chairs already sold also bore the stamp GM with the abbreviated A.S. Museum Paleis het Loo also owns a signed series. The Rijksmuseum has in its collection an early Seize signed chair.
