These candlesticks are executed in the neoclassical style (also called Louis Seize style after the reign of this French king, but lasted longer until the beginning of the 19th century).

Characteristic are the rams heads, portrait medallions and garlands. Silversmith : Hendrik Roodenberg. Year letter 1787 and 1788. First silver content. Stadskeur Amsterdam.
