A marble relief

A thick piece of marble in the shape of a stele has been worked in relief on the front.

In this way, this children's portrait shows more than a profile but is not free of the stone.

The hair and the robe playfully break through the frame, creating an image of spaciousness.

The artist has taken the style of Roman antiquity and Italian Renaissance as an example.
