This decorative leaf is a Grand Tour souvenir. As a memento of their Europe trip, young people took objects with them. Particularly popular were the table tops inlaid with luxurious stones. This tray is inlaid with antique stones in an oval shape, which is rare. After the trip, table tops were ordered at home.
